Simple Universal Laws

"If A, then B..."

"For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."

"Inputs equal outputs."


We have all heard the Law of Cause and Effect paraphrased a million different ways. Whether or not we are conscious of it, this law is applied to our lives everyday. Some call it Karma. Some recognize it as the results of hard work or treating others the way they want to be treated. It is evident in the rewards we get from random acts of kindness. Championship teams see it as a result of hard work, practice, and working together for a common goal.I could go on, but consider this: Why would you look for a quick fix for problems that took years to manifest like poor health or gaining weight?

I have heard prospective clients say that they are struggling with mysterious weight gain. And then, we talk about what they eat. Most of the time sugar, fast food, and large portions are the culprits. I ask them to write down everything they eat (including the amounts) for one week. Then, their eyes are opened. Once they are reminded of the effects that certain foods have on their bodies, they have to take responsibility for their condition. After all, when you know better then you do better, right? If only it were that simple...
